Site Managers and Teachers

 Ray-Ray Farrales (Site Manager)

Well-versed in performance art and collaborative theater, Ray-Ray loves to facilitate wonder to kids. Ray-Ray worked        with the Neo-Futurists, an experimental theater troupe in Chicago for two years before settling in Boston. Ray-                  Ray worked as a teacher at KidsArts for one year and is now a site manager. Ray-Ray's classes have included lighting    design, play preparation and body movement. Angela Colombo Martinez (Teacher

Angela has worked at KidsArts for over 20 years. She is often recognized in Jamaica Plain by the scores of Kids she has worked with at KidsArts, the Hernandez School and the La Piñata Youth program. Born near Santo Domingo in the Dominican Republic she shares her cultural heritage though her classes, especially cooking! She is a talented seamstress, cook, painter and woodworker. Her classes focus on hand-on crafting and construction. 

 

 

 

Jennifer Nova (Site Manager and Teacher)

Jen is currently attending Lesley University - studying for an M.A in Expressive Therapies: Drama Therapy with a specialization in Mental Health Counseling. She has worked as an Assistant Teacher for preschool aged children, taught dance to high school youth and led drama therapy groups for disabled populations. Her interests include integrating the arts, education, and therapy to empower individuals and communities. 

 

 

 

 Jordan Wolfe (Teacher)

Jordan is a musician and actor from Massachusetts. He's a long time camp counselor and recently graduated from            Wheaton College in Norton Massachusetts where he received a B.A. in Music. When he isn't playing with his rock band    or geeking out over a board games, Jordan loves working with kids and teaching them about art. Some of Jordan's            classes include Improv Troupe, Lap Harp Rock Band, JP Video, Cool Cats Choir and Rap Crew.

 

 

 

 

Administrative

   Maren Coniglione

 Maren joined KidsArts after two+ years as Assistant Director of the Brookline Arts Center where she directed                    educational programming, oversaw recruitment and students, staff and interns in addition to teaching classes including      Paper Sculpture and 3D Design.  Previously she had spent 5 years at the Dorchester Community Center for the Visual      Arts as an art teacher and office manager.   Maren holds a B.A. in Anthropology and Photography from Bennington          College and a M.A. in International Relations and African Studies from Boston University. She has a 2 year old            daughter Ayla who the kids love to play with. You can reach Maren at maren@jpkidsarts.org.

 

 

 

 Diana Mai
 

Diana is our Operations Manager, taking care of all enrollment and registrar inquiries. Starting out initially in 2012 as a      teacher at KidsArts, she is skilled in a variety of visual media, and has taught photography classes here. Diana has a        degree in Art and Women’s Studies from Northeastern, and prior to KidsArts worked at the Holland Elementary School      in Dorchester as a City Years corps member. You can reach Diana at diana@jpkidsarts.org.
