I find music and art making to one of the most exciting, rewarding and calming things in my life. I believe that if everyone got to make art or be creative on a regular basis the world would be a happier, healthier and safer place.

Ray-Ray Farrales

Program Manager

Since the fall of 2013 I have been honored to be part of the KidsArts family. I have seen the way KidsArts truly empowers kids to find their artistic voice and encourages them to use it. I love the way I get to be in our student’s lives in a consistent basis and joining them in their creative endeavors as they play, create, make jokes, write songs, tell stories and share struggles and friendship. I am studying Expressive Arts Therapy at Lesley University.

I received my BFA from China Central Academy of Fine Arts in Beijing and my MFA from the School of Museum of Fine Arts at Tufts University. When I was little it was my art teachers who made me feel more and more interested in making art, now I want to pass this feeling along and show how cool art-making can be to the kids!

Ashlee Here! I started at KidsArts in the summer of 2016 as an Intern. I’ve officially been part of the staff since the fall. Prior to working at KidsArts I worked at Here We Grow Daycare/Prechool as a TA in the preschool classroom. I believe that art is everything around you, its just how you perceive it. Some of my favorite types of art are watercolor and graffiti and anything that is requires hands on work.
