KidsArts! offers 5-days of full-day vacation camp for children in grades K2-5 during public school February and April Breaks. Families may choose all, some or even just one day of coverage for their child(ren).
We also offer full-day camp on scheduled BPS Vacation and Staff Development days:
Tuesday, January 3, 2012* (BPS staff development)
February 20-24, 2012 (Winter vacation week)
Theme: Arts in Motion (kinetic arts)… an exploration of critical balance, energy and movement, culminating in the development of Rube Goldberg machines. We’ll learn modern dance, make our own mechanical sculptures, visit with local artists, and put on a big performance for our families on Friday!
Friday, April 6, 2012* (Good Friday)
Theme: Celebrating the Spring…We will go on a guided bird watching tour in the arboretum, cook food, and take a trip to the garden and plant some seeds.
April 16-20, 2012 (Spring vacation week)
Theme: “EarthWorks” — We’ll put Spring Fever to use making an art installation for a nearby greenspace. We’re planning on partnering with MassArt for this adventure. Join us!

Monday, June 18, 2012* (Bunker Hill Day)
Students enjoy exceptional programming and enrichment in a safe, fun environment at a competitive price. Each vacation week includes both site-based activities and field trips. The daily program involves both active and quiet indoor and outdoor play (weather and schedule permitting.)
Choose one day, several or all our vacation days… your kids will have the time of their lives!
In addition to daily workshops centering on the chosen theme, each day features a range of arts-related projects, outdoor play and a variety of indoor games and activities.
Hours (Vacation Weeks):
8:00-9:00am – Drop-off
9:00am-4:00pm – Creative programming, field trips and indoor/outdoor supervised play
4:00-6:00pm – Extended day includes games, crafts and supervised play
*Hours (Single Days):
8:00-9:00am – Drop-off
5:00-6:00pm – Pick-up
Other daily activities:
Quiet time allows children to relax for 20-30 minutes after lunchtime and stay current on reading.
Free time is supervised but unstructured play, including games, sports, crafts, and imaginative play
What to bring:
Lunch with a drink
Appropriate dress for outdoor weather and walking trips
