Teaching Assistant - Summer 2025

JP KidsArts Teaching Assistant Position

We're looking for enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to support our dynamic arts program and become caring mentors in our kids' lives. You'll work alongside our Artists-as-Teachers to create enriching artistic experiences and help foster a nurturing space where children can thrive.

In this role, you'll:

  • Support art workshops for children ages 5-12, helping demonstrate techniques and guide creative exploration

  • Create a safe environment during free-play, encouraging positive social interactions

  • Help kids develop conflict resolution skills through communication and problem-solving

  • Maintain our welcoming space where children feel empowered to express themselves

  • Work with our team on daily tasks like snack prep, materials organization, and space care

You should have:

  • A passion for arts education and working with youth

  • Strong communication skills and team spirit

  • Enthusiasm for supporting children's creative growth

  • Commitment to creating inclusive learning environments
