Virtual Workshops
We are proud to share daily arts workshops designed especially for virtual learning! These small group classes offer plenty of individual support and attention while giving kids a chance to relax and get creative after a long, busy day! Materials provided.
*Workshops require a minimum of three kids to run. If classes do not run we will offer refunds. Invite your friends! Workshops meet in three week sessions starting the weeks of 9/14, 10/5, and 10/26. Each workshop meets once a week at 4 pm.
Experimental Zines
What’s a zine? It’s like a magazine, or a comic, or maybe like a newspaper but instead of news it’s all jokes and pictures of dogs? Together we will create our very own zines from scratch. We will learn how to create our own books with at-home materials, print copies, and share them with the world. This class will include cutting, glueing, taping, drawing, writing, stapling, and potentially some sewing. All members of the class are expected to finish at least one zine - this is a space of self drive, exploration, wild imagination, and embracing mistakes! A Perfect fit for fans of comics, journals, punk rock gig posters, memes, etc.

KidsArts vs Evil
Calling all lightning wizards, swamp goblins, and kung-fu fairies for an interactive role-playing adventure. Our virtual D&D will be a quest of world building, problem solving, and team strengthening missions of peril. This journey will be ideal for the adventurous, imagination driven, fantasy/sci-fi lovers of the world.

Zoom Theatre
Can we do things on Zoom that we wouldn’t be able to do live and person? Let’s find out! Together we will make up stories and skits to share with family and friends. We will play theatre games, create our own stories and characters, and more. At the end of the session, we will perform a live show for family and friends over Zoom! Recommended for ages 6-10.

Flipbook Animation
Ever wonder how cartoons are made? It turns out they are actually tons and tons of drawings all in a row. Making all those drawings on a computer is hard work... But there's an easier way! We're going to take pads of paper and make short animations by hand. Then we'll animate them by flipping through the pages with our thumbs. We can even record sound effects and talking to make full blown animations.

ChessArt is a workshop about the game of chess. We will learn the rules of the game, design new ways to win a match, and have lots of fun playing. This workshop welcomes early learners and those who have all the right moves!
